Outsourcing any aspect of your business to a third party is a big leap of faith. Whether that be your marketing, your PR or recruitment, it is a decision that needs a lot of thought and consideration.

When choosing a company to outsource to, you need to be sure of their commitment to your brand. Being confident in their understanding of your culture and values as well as the ability of that team to deliver your services to the highest standards is vital.

Relationships are fundamental to the success of any outsourced contract, and it is these relationships that drive RecruitForMyPub.com

So how did it all begin?

FindMyPub.com started as a lead-generative business, nearly ten years ago to furnish the pub trade with applicants and match applicants to tenanted vacancies.

The business grew exponentially over the years; we became more than lead providers we became integral to the recruitment strategy of our pub company partners. Quite quickly we established a close and transparent relationship with our clients. Quite quickly we noted that every pub company is unique in its requirements and internal recruitment processes. While the lead-generative web-driven business suited many, it did not suit all, and we knew we had more to offer.

In 2012, our first Outsourced client came on board initially looking for an interim solution to alleviate a resource issue in their recruitment team. Phone handling was given over to our teams for a period to allow this company to focus on recruitment – as we had already profiled and advised applicants on getting into the trade our experience allowed us to extend our services to assist them with their staffing shortage. This was the birth of our outsourced division.

Through recommendation, we gained a second outsourced contract shortly after, a contract which is still going strong today. This one gained from a need for a client to allow their team time to focus on matching applicants a feat which was proving impossible due to the volume they were handling. They needed a filtering service so that they could ensure their recruitment team were able to focus solely on the applicants that were ready to take a site.

In 2014, a new pub company was formed, a company that had no internal infrastructure to recruit. Again, via recommendation, we won this business, testament to the work we had completed for our other clients. This company recognised they had a gap in their lettings strategy and we filled that gap offering them an end-to-end outsourced recruitment solution.

2016 and 2017 saw a further two pub companies identify a need for our services and we could facilitate these with ease having a model that could be replicated and integrated quickly and effectively.

In 2017 RecruitForMyPub was established as a dedicated outsourced division of MyPubGroup.ltd and I was appointed Head of Operations. RecruitForMyPub.com offers ‘end-to-end’ recruitment services to some of the biggest pub companies in the business. RecruitForMyPub.com manage and operate remotely, as an outsourced division of those companies providing fully branded, front-end recruitment services.

Our collaborative approach ensures that the commercial deal we have with each of our clients is entirely bespoke to their requirements. All the clients that we work with have had a set of unique challenges.

Steve Jobs once said, “Success is not faith in technology, it is a faith in people”. For me, this is what has driven this business and what will continue to develop our offer and is the basis of our strategy into the future. While innovative and supported by intelligent technology, RecruitForMyPub.com is in its purest form a people led service. It is bespoke to our partner’s needs and driven by relationships, communication and our desire to help people realise their potential and fulfil their ambitions of taking a pub.
